Job description

We’re looking for a Creative Graduate to develop a business plan for the reopening of Bonhoga and tie this to a new retail strategy for Shetland Arts.

We’re looking for a Creative Graduate to develop a business plan for the reopening of Bonhoga and tie this to a new retail strategy for Shetland Arts. Reporting to the Director of Creativity & Impact, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful reopening of Bonhoga and evaluating the success of the first 3 months.

You'll build relationships with local craft makers to explore how Bonhoga can support their work, while also researching potential sustainability projects to be based at the venue. This role includes designing an evaluation framework to assess the success of Bonhoga’s reopening, supporting budget planning, and working closely with the Operations and Marketing Teams to ensure a smooth and impactful reopening. It's a dynamic opportunity to make a real difference in the cultural and creative landscape of Shetland.

This role is part funded by Highlands and Islands Enterprise.

What are the details?
*This is a full-time, 1-year fixed-term contract.
*Salary: £30,000.
*Candidates should have graduated within the last 4 years, ideally with no more than 1 year's graduate level work experience. The minimum qualification accepted will be HNC, but Degree level is preferable.
*The graduate must be resident in the Highlands and Islands area for the duration of the placement.
