About Us:

Regeneration, Economy and Planning in Westminster City Council is a world of extraordinary stories, where small things can have a huge impact on people's lives.

Take Mitin, our Head of Estates Services. Mitin’s team handles cleaning, gardening, and refuse removal across housing estates, emphasizing human contact and resident care.

Mitin’s team contributes to our Smart City initiatives, using technology to address issues like fly tipping and graffiti, and engaging with residents to improve their environment and wellbeing.

Mitin values building relationships with residents, fostering a sense of pride and community.

The Role:

As a Creative Enterprise Manager, you will lead the North Paddington Creative Enterprise Programme, aimed at growing the creative and cultural economy of the area.

North Paddington has a rich cultural history but faces challenges like low start-up growth and loss of creative spaces. You will be the main facilitator, planner, coordinator, and delivery manager, overseeing governance and monitoring.

The programme’s objectives are:

  • To amplify creativity through grassroots activities and a new Creative Network.
  • To expand affordable workspaces and infrastructure for creative production.
  • To strengthen connections with arts and cultural organizations for outreach, participation, and mentoring.

This role offers a chance to drive daily cultural engagement and deliver inclusive growth benefits to communities.
