Jak is partnering with a renowned office fit-out company.

This candidate will be coordinating with teams across the organization to understand teams' design needs and build out their creative strategy accordingly. In each of these projects, you will ensure that outcomes are on budget, within brand, and incorporate current design trends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively on behalf of the company to clients.
• Accurately take and interpret the client's brief.
• Create relevant storyboards, drawings, sketches, text, and data for pitch proposals.
• Collaborate with the client team to bring the concept design to life by selecting finishes, and agreeing on layouts and design details.
• Lead the strategy and development of all creative campaigns, ensuring a consistent brand across channels.
• Stay current on emerging digital technology trends to incorporate new technologies into your strategy.
• Manage production timelines, vendor relationships, and quality or cost controls.
• Communicate cross-functionally to understand creative needs.
• Provide leadership to the design team, inspiring creativity and ensuring design excellence.
• Assess, update, and maintain all relevant design documentation.
• Complete comprehensive snagging at the end of a project.
• Manage communication of design changes with the wider team.

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Architecture, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Creative Director or in a similar leadership role within the interior design industry.
• 8+ years of experience in an interior design role.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Deep understanding of design principles, trends, and industry best practices.
• Current portfolio to be submitted with your application.
• Knowledge of the following software:
• AutoCAD
• SketchUp
• InDesign
• Photoshop
• MS Office
