Job summary

St Catherine’s is seeking a Digital & Video Content Creator to develop and deliver engaging content across our digital channels. You will manage the School's social media, produce photography and video content, write copy, and collaborate with colleagues to tell compelling stories from school life.

The role requires creativity, organization and a passion for storytelling. Part-time, 3–4 days a week (0.6–0.8 FTE), with pro-rated salary of £28,000, and a generous benefits package including

Qualifications

• Experience in a social media, marketing, communications or content creation role.
• Excellent writing and communication skills.
• Strong photography and/or videography skills.
• Experience creating engaging content across multiple social media platforms.
• Basic video editing skills and confidence using Canva.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• A keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of brand consistency.

Responsibilities

• Managing the School's social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn).
• Plan, create and publish content aligned to the School's brand and values.
• Produce high-quality photography and video content for digital platforms.
• Attend school events to capture content and tell compelling stories.
• Create written content for social media, news stories and newsletters.
• Support ongoing development and maintenance of website content.
• Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to grow reach and interaction.
• Build relationships with staff and pupils to uncover stories across the School.
