Job summary

Jobtailor in London is seeking a designer/developer hybrid who can prototype creative ideas from rough concepts to polished experiences. You will collaborate with designers, strategists and creatives from the outset, bringing a technical perspective to help teams understand what is possible.

You will explore Generative AI, creative coding, new interfaces and emerging technologies, building rapid prototypes and internal tools, and you will shape how technology drives brand experiences for clients

Qualifications

• Around 3 years’ experience in either design or front-end engineering.
• Strong eye for design and thoughtful interaction understanding.
• Strong technical execution and creative flair.
• Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Next.js, Generative AI tools such as Claude Code and Cursor, creative coding, Figma, WebGL/Three.js or similar technologies.
• Portfolio of relevant work and code demonstrating design sensibility, technical execution and creative flair.
• Comfortable prototyping with code.
• Ability to prototype, test and iterate.
• Ability to communicate technical ideas simply.
• Curiosity and comfort with uncertainty.
• Ability to collaborate across design, strategy and creative disciplines.
