Job summary

CGTN Europe Ltd. is looking for a Creative Designer to join a dynamic team in West London (Chiswick).

The role covers short and long-term projects including motion graphics, maps, studio design elements, and website banners, as well as graphic explainer videos and promos for on-air and online use. You will collaborate with the Creative Director and programme teams, delivering high-quality visuals under tight deadlines.

Qualifications

Graphic Design degree or equivalent qualification.
Portfolio demonstrating strong creative talent in conception and execution.
3+ years of work experience in broadcast or graphic/motion design.
Proficient in Adobe software; After Effects, Illustrator, Photoshop.
Interest in news and current affairs is desirable.
Knowledge of video editing with Premiere and AR is a plus.
Experience with CGTN's multi-platform environment is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Design and execute high quality graphics and artwork in a multi-platform environment, under the Creative Director.
Liaise with news and programme producers daily and offer creative solutions to enhance content.
Assist the Senior Creative Designers with projects.
Manage time effectively and meet deadlines across departments.
Work on short and long-term projects, creating motion graphics, maps, banners.
Create explainer videos, promos, channel idents and branding for special projects.
Develop title sequences, stings and set design as needed.
