Job description

Introduction

As a Creative Designer, you will be responsible for creating compelling designs that reflect ASMs vision and strengthen its brand. You will work across digital, print, and multimedia platforms, taking ownership of projects that include graphic design, motion graphics, video editing, and web visual design. This role offers the perfect opportunity to expand your skill set, supported by training initiatives and a collaborative culture that encourages innovation, ownership, and growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Graphic Design & Artwork Production: Create high-quality visual assets for print, digital, and web use, ensuring layouts are polished and engaging.
  • Motion Graphics/Lottie Animation & Video Production: Design and animate motion graphics & Lottie animations for digital content, advertisements, and promotional videos.
  • Web Visual Design: Develop visually appealing web content and create Lottie animations for enhanced interactivity.
  • Content Development for Marketing Channels: Produce materials for social media, email campaigns, merchandise, webinars, and events while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Creative Direction & Idealisation: Lead brainstorming sessions, conceptualise creative solutions, and present design ideas and messaging frameworks to stakeholders.
  • Brand Custodianship: Ensure visual consistency across all brand assets, from internal documents to public-facing content.

Essential Skills

  • Graphic Design Expertise: At least 5 years of experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across media.
  • Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro).
  • Motion Graphics & Video Editing: Proven ability to create and edit video content and animations.
  • Creative Thinking: A passion for visual storytelling and the ability to think outside the box
  • Brand Consistency: Strong ability to implement brand guidelines in a way that is consistent and professional maintaining a cohesive brand identity.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Strong people skills to work with internal and external teams.

Desirable Skills

  • Lottie Animation: Experience creating Lottie files for web or mobile use Audio Editing:
  • Proficiency in Adobe Audition or similar software for podcast editing.
  • Merchandise Design: Familiarity with designing branded promotional items.
  • Presentation Design: Advanced skills in PowerPoint for professional presentations.
  • Canva: Experience with Canva for social media assets.
  • UX/UI Knowledge: Basic understanding of UX/UI principles and web design collaboration
  • Interest in photography and ability to use equipment to capture photos and record video
