MD @ Other Things | You create the game, we handle the Other Things: Video, Web & Brand for Games & Entertainment Develop:Brighton

TL;DR

Love video games? Love football? Love turning a creative spark into scroll-stopping content? We’re looking for a creative content producer who can manage and deliver sharp, impactful creative, from idea to final asset, with a special focus on football / football game content. If you’re part creative, part organiser, obsessed with football culture, and know what makes fans feel something on socials, this one's for you.

Please note that this role is on-site at our Leeds city centre office only. Remote working is not an option for this one.

WHO ARE OTHER THINGS?

We’re a creative agency with a focus on the gaming and entertainment industries. We produce a lot of videos, websites, marketing and brand assets, and all the other creative bits in-between, for some of the world’s biggest gaming brands.

We’re called Other Things.

WHAT’S THE JOB?

We’re after a creative content producer who lives and breathes football, and knows how to turn that love into content that actually connects. You’ll help manage and produce a wide range of creative projects - from trailers and short-form videos to social assets and campaigns, working closely with our creatives, freelancers, and clients to make sure everything lands on time, on brief, and on point.

You’ll be deeply involved in football-related work - producing reactive content ideas, campaign concepts and BAU digital assets that speak the language of the fans. You should have a solid handle on football culture (the memes, the moments, the madness), as well as how football lives on social platforms.

And yes, for the avoidance of doubt, you should be a fan of football video games.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce and manage creative projects across static, motion, video and digital, with a strong focus on football-related content
  • Produce creative ideas and briefs and translate them into timelines, task lists, and deliverables, then see them through
  • Own project schedules, scopes, budgets and production workflows
  • Lead on the delivery of social-first content - from reactive fast-turnaround bits to more substantial trailers and announcements
  • Stay on top of football content and trends across all major platforms
  • Act as the link between internal teams and clients - managing communication, feedback, and approvals
  • Source, brief and manage freelancers where needed (editors, designers, animators, etc.)
  • QA the work - Ensure that every asset that goes out is polished, consistent and impactful

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Solid e

  • xperience in a content production or creative project management role (agency or studio background ideal)
  • Deep understanding of football, football culture and football gaming communities
  • Passion for the sport. You follow it, live it, and understand what gets fans hyped
  • Strong grasp of how content performs across different social platforms
  • A confident communicator who’s strong with the written word
  • An organised multitasker who keeps things moving
  • Comfortable working with creatives, clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Able to turn chaos into clarity, especially when timelines get tight
  • You love games, love football, and love bringing both together in smart, engaging ways

NICE-TO-HAVES

  • Experience working on sports or gaming content (or both)
  • Familiarity with Trello, Slack, Google Suite and similar tools
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design, motion or video editing tools
  • Sense of humour and an eye for cultural moments that make content land
  • Can pick up a controller and competently take part in gameplay capture sessions

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

Apart from some cold, hard cash? You’ll be producing content for major names in gaming and football - the kind of stuff fans share, screenshot, and argue about online. You’ll be part of a small, passionate team that punches above its weight. And you’ll have real creative influence, helping shape the way campaigns look, feel, and connect.

WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

Location: On-site at our Leeds city centre office

Hours: 40 hours per week. Flexible working will be available as some weekend work during the football season will be required.
