Role: Creative Content Manager

Location: London, England, United Kingdom

About the role:

As owner of some of the biggest whisky brands on earth, our client is seeking fresh creative thinkers that operate in the digital world to lead the amplification of iconic whisky brands through their global social channels with social media management and support of our in-house creative studio.

The role is based in Chiswick business park (2 days per week) and would liaise between the brand and studio teams, requiring creative thinking, organisational excellence, digital savviness & cultural nous, with a high focus on social media management, copywriting and creative concepting.

What you will be doing:
  • Channel & Community management - Our community is hugely important to us. General h ousekeeping across FB, IG, YT, PN; daily community management, pro-active and reactive engagement with audiences, UGC, publishing/management of social content calendars .
  • Insights reporting : Comfortable working with data insights to refine content plans. Setting and monitoring KPIs, tracking and reporting on performance metrics, and being agile in optimising our content output accordingly.
  • Liaising with internal media team to advise on the paid strategy, including managing paid campaigns across markets.
  • Lead and support on proactive and reactive creative content briefs , from pre-production through to execution, interpreting a brand’s visual TOV and assets into new interesting formats . Working alongside OLIVER digital designers, film production teams, external agencies and co-creators where needed to meet objectives & deadlines agreed with Brand team.
  • Use trends and insights to inform proactive and reactive content briefs.
  • Short (posts across all channels) + long form copywriting across web pages, creative blogs and eCRM content, in close collaboration with SEO partner and writing with SEO in mind.
  • Supportive brand management , working very closely with brand teams on key campaigns and how to bring them to life across social and digital. Act as the brand custodian for content across the social ecosystem.
  • Outreach: Champion the brand and its teams. Keep an eye on market, competitors, social trends/insights to feed into overarching social strategy, social media updates .
  • Attend weekly client digital team catch-ups.
  • Passion for creative ideation and content creation that makes people want to engage and share, as well as the AI landscape and how to implement it across content.

What you need to be great in this role:
  • 3-5 years’ brand and agency experience in social media for B2C brands
  • A strong knowledge of social media channels, social culture, digital creativity and editorial marketing
  • Strong copywriting skills across channels
  • Excellent organisation skills with experience overseeing a multi-disciplinary team to deliver creative output to a high standard and against a deadline
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and fluent English language
  • Familiarity working with CMS platforms and social insights tools
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Cloud is advantageous
  • Experience in low-fi content creation is advantageous
  • Knowledge of the whisky and/or spirit industry would be a plus
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and self-starter who can equally manage multiple stakeholders in a large organisation
