Job Purpose:

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Creative Content Designer will craft engaging marketing materials such as digital graphics, videos, brochures, and social media assets. This entry-level role suits a detail-oriented, storytelling-focused designer eager to develop their skills within an established brand, gaining real campaign experience with mentorship and guidance. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro, along with videography and photography skills, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design digital and print marketing materials, including brochures, signage, campaign graphics, and presentations.
• Create and edit promotional videos, highlight reels, and social media content using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar tools.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop visual assets aligned with campaign goals and brand guidelines.
• Produce multi-channel motion graphics and video content for digital platforms.
• Maintain an organized asset library, ensuring timely delivery and version control.
• Assist in visual branding development, including logos and event-specific designs.
• Contribute to presentation decks and proposals using PowerPoint or equivalents.
• Support web digital assets, ensuring mobile-friendly and optimized designs.
• Capture photography and video footage during live events as needed.
• Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to enhance creative output.

Skills & Experience:

• Studied within a creative discipline; portfolio showcasing creative thinking and design fundamentals.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro (After Effects a plus).
• Understanding of visual design principles like composition, colour, and typography, aligned with brand guidelines.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without quality compromise.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proactive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Good time management skills.
• Desirable but not essential: familiarity with social media assets, experience from internships, freelance, or university projects, and interest in the events industry.
