Job summary

Wessex Garages in Cardiff is seeking an enthusiastic Content Creator to join our marketing team. This entry-level role offers hands-on experience across our digital channels, helping showcase our vehicles and customer experience with creative visuals.

You will work under the Communications Director, producing graphics, videos and campaigns, and you’ll learn PPC basics, analytics, and industry trends while growing your design and marketing skills.

Qualifications

• Qualification in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, or related field (or relevant experience/portfolio).
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Understanding of social media platforms and content trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Create eye-catching graphics, videos, and marketing materials for use online and in print.
• Develop our social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn.
• Support website updates, ensuring content is accurate, fresh, visually appealing and brand compliant.
• Monitor social media and digital performance, providing basic reporting on engagement.
• Ensure all content reflects brand guidelines and maintains a professional standard.
• Providing reports and analysis to the Communications Director.
• Sourcing and ordering promotional items.
• Assisting in product placements and sponsorship events.
• Have a basic understand of PPC and Google Ads.
• Keep up to date with industry trends and new vehicle releases.
• Any other administrative tasks the Marketing department require
