Job summary

Pertemps Scotland is recruiting a Communications Assistant in Edinburgh City Centre. Hybrid role with 2 office days weekly, 36 hours per week, immediate start. Pay £16.07–£18.34 per hour, contract through to end of March 2027.

You will support creative campaigns across digital and traditional channels, manage online content, and collaborate with teams for timely delivery. The role suits someone with strong writing skills, attention to detail, and a flair for digital marketing and video content

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail and a creative mindset.
• Experience in digital marketing, social media, or content creation is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• A passion for creative writing and delivering messages that resonate with audiences.
• Experience producing materials in Word, PowerPoint and Canva; filming and editing videos.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and delivery of creative marketing/communications/media campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
• Assist in managing content for online channels including social media and web.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
• Monitor campaign and communications activity performance and gather insights for reporting and optimisation.
• Assist in creating engaging marketing and media/PR materials such as blog posts, graphics, and video content.
• Contribute ideas for improving campaign effectiveness and audience engagement.
