Pay: £90 – £105 per day Pay rate is dependent on experience & qualifications.
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
Setting: Mainstream Primary School (EYFS, KS1, KS2)

Do you love storytelling, messy play, phonics songs, and big imaginations? Are you looking to kick-start or grow your career in mainstream primary education?

We’re on the hunt for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in LS8, supporting pupils in EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Whether you're crafting rocket ships out of cardboard, helping with phonics in Reception, or supporting group learning in Year 3 – this is a role where no two days are the same!

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting pupils across the primary age range (EYFS–KS2)
  • Assisting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities
  • Helping deliver small group interventions in literacy, numeracy or phonics
  • Providing 1:1 support for children who need a little extra encouragement
  • Creating a warm, inclusive learning environment where every child feels confident

We’d Love to Hear from You if You:

  • Have experience working with children (in schools, childcare, clubs, etc.)
  • Are positive, patient, and passionate about primary education
  • Are creative and confident supporting learning through play
  • Are comfortable supporting children with mild additional needs such as ADHD or low confidence
  • Want to grow your classroom skills – experience isn’t essential, attitude is!
