Job summary

Lodestone House in the Winchester area is seeking an ambitious Chef to join Chartwells on a full-time contract of 40 hours per week. You will prepare and plate high-quality dishes, support menu development, and help deliver exceptional food experiences across multiple venues.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 706/1 & 706/2 or NVQ equivalent
• Food Hygiene certificate
• Experience supervising a team
• Experience in a similar Chef role
• Flexible approach to working hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare delicious, high-quality food for clients and customers
• Oversee and implement menu changes
• Identify opportunities to improve food services
• Listen to customer feedback to improve services
• Support creation of new menus and creative food concepts
• Represent Chartwells and maintain a positive brand image
• Monitor inventories to keep kitchens well-stocked
• Oversee kitchen cleaning to maintain hygiene standards
• Comply with Food Handling, Hygiene and Health and Safety regulations
