We are seeking a Chef Manager for a Guildford location, joining BaxterStorey’s contract catering team. You will lead a busy kitchen, create seasonal menus, and ensure high standards of food quality and safety.

The role offers daytime hours, Monday to Friday, and the chance to work with a friendly, professional team in a supportive environment. You’ll bring leadership and culinary flair to a well‑respected catering business.

Qualifications

• Experience as a chef in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards, adhering to recipes and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety procedures.
• Collaborate with existing kitchen teams to support daily operations and smooth service.
• Assist in managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans as needed.
• Adapt quickly to different kitchen environments, menus, and cooking styles.
• Support and supervise kitchen staff when required, fostering a positive and efficient work atmosphere.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by maintaining food quality and presentation.
• Respond flexibly to changing work locations and schedules as per organisational needs.
