This role is within Nuevo, our purpose-built in-house creative agency that bridges the gap between big brand thinking and flawless execution.

Purpose of the Job

The Creative Business Director (equivalent to a Senior Account Director) will harness the power of our integrated ecosystem to deliver innovative solutions for clients.

You'll bridge the gap between our Client Engagement teams and specialist talents, navigating senior stakeholder relationships while leading breakthrough work that drives meaningful brand impact.

Key Responsibilities

Client Engagement Team Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary strategic and creative contact for key client accounts leads
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior-level Client Engagement teams and clients
  • Bridge expertise gaps by supporting Client Engagement teams on specialized creative projects and upskilling them in strategic processes and creative excellence.
  • Present strategic recommendations and campaign proposals to senior-level internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage expectations and resolve complex issues with diplomacy and strategic thinking

Strategic + Creative Projects Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional teams in developing innovative solutions, integrated marketing campaigns and intelligent reports
  • Oversee multiple complex campaigns and projects simultaneously
  • Collaborate with Creative, Creative Intelligence, Creative Technology and HH Global specialists to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction
  • Work closely with Director of Operations and Project Managers to guarantee accurate scoping of projects from inception through delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and meet client expectations
  • Monitor projects performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders

Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities from existing client relationships
  • Participate in new business pitches and proposals
  • Contribute to agency growth targets and revenue objectives
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Team Management

  • Lead and mentor Creative Business Managers, and Coordinators
  • Foster collaborative relationships across all agency departments
  • Ensure team productivity and quality standards are consistently met
  • Participate in hiring and talent development initiatives

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Very strong experience in Account Management at a creative agency
  • Proven track record of managing senior clients’ relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee multiple multifaceted campaigns and projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of the strategic and creative process across all channels including campaigns, digital, CX and Marketing Activation experience would be a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Genuine appreciation for brand, creativity and audience-centric thinking
  • Background in creative agency (preferred)
  • Experience working with global or multi-market clients (preferred)
