Job summary

TAGGED RESOURCES is seeking an Assistant Designer in Leicester to join a global fashion company’s head office. You will support the Head of Design and team, create CADs in Illustrator, and prepare tech packs for production across baby, toddler, and womenswear categories.

You will conduct trend research, build mood boards, photograph samples, and liaise with overseas factories to ensure designs are developed accurately. A great learning environment with career growth awaits.

Qualifications

• Degree in Fashion Design or related discipline
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and fashion CAD design
• Good working knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets and Google Slides
• Keen eye for current fashion trends
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proactive attitude handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for fashion and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Design and design team across projects
• Create and update CADs using Adobe Illustrator
• Prepare detailed and accurate tech packs for factory production
• Conduct trend research and develop seasonal mood boards
• Photograph, organise and track shopping and development samples
• Liaise with overseas factories and internal teams to ensure designs are developed accurately
• Assist with presentations, design boards and project administration
