Salary: Between £47,014.50 and £53,001.00, based on working 37.5 hours per week, 42 weeks per year
Contract Type: Permanent - Term Time Only - Full Time or Part Time
As a Creative Arts Therapist, what does a typical week look like for you? With us, your day would begin with a collaborative morning briefing, an opportunity to share updates and hear about the powerful, person-centred work happening across our Integrated Therapy team.
You'll play an active role in delivering training to our teaching teams, introducing creative approaches that enrich the learning environment and open new pathways for learner engagement. You'll share insights drawn from your therapeutic work and lead reflective practice sessions with team members, helping them better understand and support learners' emotional and developmental needs.
Your creativity and expertise will shine as you design therapeutic sessions that go beyond words, using visual art, movement, music, drama, or storytelling to help our learners process and express their emotions in constructive, empowering ways. Whether you're guiding a group in collaborative artmaking or supporting an individual through music or roleplay, your work will offer meaningful outlets for expression, especially for neurodiverse pupils or those who have experienced trauma.
You'll manage a small caseload, offering both 1:1 and group sessions tailored to each young adults needs. And because we care about your growth too, you'll have protected time to develop your clinical and mentoring skills, supported by regular clinical supervision.
