An inclusive and vibrant educational institution seeks a Creative Arts Teacher to inspire neurodiverse children at The Grange School in Thatcham. In this permanent role, you’ll craft engaging art lessons that foster creativity and self-expression, while guiding students with additional needs towards their full potential. You'll enjoy a supportive environment, term-time work, and competitive salary, along with professional development opportunities and well-being support.
About The Role
Are you an imaginative and passionate Creative Arts Teacher who believes in the power of artistic expression to unlock potential? Do you thrive on thinking beyond traditional teaching methods and crafting inspiring, hands-on learning experiences? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our vibrant and inclusive teaching team.
You’ll be working with neurodiverse children and young people who may have additional needs related to communication and interaction, cognition and learning, or sensory and physical development. We are dedicated to creating a nurturing, engaging, and highly creative learning environment where every pupil’s unique strength and aspiration are celebrated.
You’ll have the freedom to break away from conventional teaching approaches and design dynamic, arts-rich lessons that spark curiosity, self-expression, and confidence. Whether through painting, sculpture, digital media, performance, or mixed-media projects, you’ll empower pupils to explore their creativity, develop essential life skills, and find their own artistic voice.
With small class sizes, typically just five pupils, you’ll have the opportunity to build deep, meaningful connections with each pupil, tailoring your teaching to their individual needs and passions. Your work will go beyond the classroom, helping young people discover new ways to communicate, problem-solve, and express themselves in a way that is both personal and powerful.
Bring your artistic vision, enthusiasm, and innovative approach to a truly rewarding teaching role. Inspire, Create Transform.
