Job summary

Sir John Nelthorpe School is seeking a creative Teacher of Art & Technology for a 1.0 FTE maternity cover starting January 2027. The role spans Art KS3-5 and Food Technology KS3-4 within the Technology & Art Faculty, with flexibility for part-time applicants.

Qualifications

• Holds a relevant teaching qualification and is eager to develop professionally.
• Able to teach Art at KS3-5 and Food Tech at KS3-4.
• Demonstrates passion for nurturing creativity and pupil development.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5.
• Teach Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Develop and deliver engaging and inspiring lessons that challenge and support pupils.
• Support the wider creative ethos of the school and contribute to extracurricular activities.
