Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting for an enthusiastic Art Teacher to join a Peterborough school from January 2027. This is a secondary role teaching across the age range, with a focus on developing creativity and practical skills in Art.

Qualifications

• Qualified or experienced Art Teacher / Art & Design Teacher.
• QTS, QTLS or an appropriate teaching qualification.
• Proven knowledge of Art for secondary students.

Responsibilities

• Teach Art across the secondary age range.
• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and inclusive Art lessons.
• Support pupils to explore materials, techniques and styles.
• Develop pupils' practical skills, creativity and confidence.
• Assess work and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
