A leading company in dairy production is seeking a Creamery Assistant to support cheese production and quality assurance. The role involves manual handling, maintaining cleanliness, and providing customer service. Ideal candidates will have HACCP certification and experience in food safety practices. This position offers both full-time and part-time options.
Hours: Full time (37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday) or part time (16 hours per week, Monday to Wednesday or Wednesday to Friday), depending on the candidate.
Botton Creamery processes milk from our farm into cheese and other dairy products, producing around 10 tonnes of cheese annually. Creamery Assistants are essential for production, quality assurance, and sales of our award-winning cheese. This physically demanding role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a complex food production environment. It also involves covering the adjacent food production area where we process liquid milk and other products.
