Morson Human Resources Limited is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane Operator to join a long-term project with a leading UK defence manufacturer in Barrow-in-Furness. You will safely operate mobile and overhead cranes, lift and position loads, and work to project requirements.
The role requires at least 3 years of crane operator experience, in-date NPORS/ECITB certification, and willingness to undergo SC clearance and night shifts. A strong commitment to health and safety is essential.

The role will initially operate on a shift pattern, with flexibility required for nights.
If moving onto night shifts, you’ll first complete one week on day shifts to allow for risk assessment.
Due to the nature of the project, you must also be willing to obtain full SC clearance before starting. Clearance is expected to take approximately 6–8 weeks.
Pre-employment and random drug testing may also be required.
