  • Perform maintenance and repairs on circuit breakers, batteries, and transformers within substations or workshop environments.

  • Assess environmental factors, ground conditions, and weather conditions to determine the safest work methods.

  • Plan and execute tasks efficiently, working independently or as part of a collaborative team.

  • Maintain a proactive and safety-conscious approach, ensuring high operational standards.

  • Deliver exceptional service, supporting essential operations 24/7/365 to benefit local communities.

  • Exhibit strong attention to detail, alongside excellent oral and written communication skills.

What you’ll bring

  • Demonstratable experience and a strong understanding of the network.

  • Previous experience in a utilities business is desirable but not essential.

  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation to ensure compliance and safe working practices.

  • Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with colleagues and customers as a professional on-site representative of the company.

Minimum Requirements
