Cambian Group Plc is seeking a Craft Maintenance Team Operative to look after domestic repairs and site maintenance across our premises. You will perform maintenance tasks, ensure safety and hygiene standards, and support contractor works to maintain a high standard of facilities for residents and staff.
This role emphasises proactive upkeep, adherence to national regulations, and collaboration with the Regional Facilities Manager on larger projects.

A Craft Maintenance team Operative carries the responsibility for the domestic repairs & maintenance upkeep of the premises, minor projects within the site complex and all compliance needed for the running of the site.
Requirements for an enhanced DBS and reference checking will be undertaken in line with government regulations and safer recruitment best practices. Whilst we endeavour to keep the recruitment process as short as possible, due to the nature of these important checks, it may extend the processing time. All young people are equally entitled to have their needs met in a fair and balanced way.
We will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who is not on the appointment panel will conduct the search and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
