We are currently looking for a Data Engineer to join our Clinical Practice Research Datalink team in the Safety and Surveillance group.
Within a week of working here, your day could involve data processing, data access, and data analysis systems to develop and support end-to-end data processing solutions. Responsibilities include developing end-to-end Extraction Transform Load (ETL) data processing solutions from data collection, maintaining and supporting CPRD’s data processing pipelines, ensuring data assets are of high quality with appropriate metadata, and identifying optimisations to enable scaling and repeatable data use.
The successful candidate will have a degree or equivalent in a computer science, IT, maths or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
They should have proven ability in designing, building, and testing data products based on feeds from multiple systems, using various storage technologies and access methods.
