Bright Search Ltd is seeking an experienced Mobile Crane and/or MEWP Operator (Class 2) to join our Scotland-wide projects. You will operate brand-new Böcker equipment from our Dalkeith yard and travel across Scotland on infrastructure and energy projects.
You may need to stay away from home overnight; this permanent, full-time role offers competitive hourly pay and overtime with an overnight allowance.

An excellent permanent opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Crane and/or MEWP Operator who also holds a Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
Working for a growing infrastructure business, you will be based from the company's operational yard in Dalkeith and operate brand-new Böcker equipment on infrastructure and energy projects throughout Scotland.
This is not a role where you will work at the same site every day. You could be travelling throughout Scotland, and some projects will involve overnight stays away from home.
For that reason, flexibility is essential.
There are two starting rates, depending upon your current qualifications:
There are also opportunities for weekend overtime, together with an overnight allowance when working away.
You must hold a Class 2 (Category C) driving licence.
You should also have:
Previous experience operating Böcker equipment would be advantageous but is not essential.
The operational yard is based in Dalkeith.
Due to early starts and the amount of travelling involved, we are specifically looking for applicants who live within approximately one hour's drive of Dalkeith.
You must also be comfortable travelling to projects throughout Scotland, including overnight stays when required.
The recruitment process is deliberately straightforward.
There will normally be one interview via Microsoft Teams, following which a decision can be made quickly.
