Job summary

Teamforce Labour is seeking an experienced 360 Machine Operator for a major civil engineering project in Haywards Heath, West Sussex. You will operate 360 excavators on site, following safety procedures and project specifications.

Applicants should have at least 5 years in a similar role, be able to work around live underground services, and hold Blue CPCS/NPORS (CSCS affiliated) with lifting operations certification. References are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Two recent professional references required.
• Experience digging and excavating safely around live underground services.
• Strong experience undertaking drainage and associated excavation works.
• Blue CPCS / NPORS (CSCS affiliated) certification.
• Lifting Operations Certification.
• Safety Critical Medical preferred.
• EUSR (Water Hygiene) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate 360 excavators in accordance with site requirements and health & safety regulations.
• Carry out excavation, trenching and drainage works to project specifications.
• Work safely around existing underground utilities and live services.
• Undertake lifting operations in accordance with approved lifting plans and site procedures.
• Conduct daily plant inspections and report any defects.
• Work closely with site management and groundworks teams to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and site safety at all times.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
