SER Limited in Manchester is recruiting an experienced CPCS Appointed Person to join our engineering team. The role concentrates on CAD-based lift planning, RAMS development and ensuring lifting operations are prepared safely and efficiently.

This is an office-based post with occasional site work, requiring clear communication with engineers, project managers and clients to deliver compliant lift plans. Salary £50-£55k DOE, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays, and

Qualifications

• Valid CPCS Appointed Person qualification and experience in lifting operations.
• RAMS preparation and risk assessment experience.
• Strong CAD experience to produce detailed lift plans.
• Knowledge of lifting regulations and health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Produce detailed lift plans using CAD for safe and efficient lifting operations.
• Prepare RAMS for lifting operations and engineering projects.
• Plan and coordinate lifting activities involving cranes and heavy machinery.
• Support projects including factory relocations and machinery installations.
• Review drawings, lifting requirements, and site information to determine lifting methods.
• Liaise with engineers, project managers and clients to ensure plans meet safety and operational needs.
• Ensure documentation complies with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Provide input during planning stages of complex lifting projects.
