Page Personnel in Wembley, part of a rapidly growing FMCG distribution business, is seeking a Transport Manager to lead its fleet operations and growth.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, you will manage day-to-day transport across 16 vehicles in London and Manchester, driving efficiency and compliance. The role requires a Transport Manager CPC, multi-drop experience, and strong team leadership to reduce costs and promote scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Transport Manager CPC and experience in multi-drop distribution.
• Experience leading driver teams and implementing training programmes.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management, compliance and transport legislation.
• Advanced Excel skills for KPI reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day transport operations across the fleet.
• Lead and develop drivers across locations.
• Drive route optimisation to cut costs and boost delivery performance.
• Utilise route planning software and pursue improvements.
• Oversee fleet maintenance, servicing, inspections and availability.
• Ensure Operator Licence compliance and transport legislation.
• Monitor KPIs: cost, utilisation, on-time delivery, driver performance.
• Handle transport incidents and escalations.
• Develop driver training and onboarding programmes.
• Reduce turnover through engagement and coaching.
• Support future fleet growth and scalability.
