Are you an experienced administrator with at least two years of experience and knowledge of the Care Programme Approach (CPA) and national guidelines? If so, join Thornford Park as a CPA Coordinator, where you will ensure the department provides and maintains a high standard of administering and documenting the Care Programme Approach.

As the CPA Coordinator, you will liaise with the Mental Health Act Admin department to prepare, plan, and coordinate CPA meetings for service users. This includes setting meeting dates, preparing and sending invitations, booking rooms and hospitality, collating and typing documents, and distributing completed packs to relevant parties.

Other responsibilities:

  • Greeting visitors to meetings and recording attendees.
  • Gathering and typing all documentation post-meeting.
  • Ensuring reports are read and signed by relevant disciplines.
  • Preparing and updating the CPA timetable and distributing it regularly.
  • Filing completed packs and archiving as necessary.
  • Liaising with external agencies regarding patient care.
  • Maintaining high standards in office practices and procedures.

Qualifications and skills:

  • 4 GCSEs or equivalent, including English.
  • 2 years of administrative or office experience.
  • European Computer Driving Licence.
  • Knowledge of CPA and national guidelines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent organizational skills.

Workplace location:

You will work at Thornford Park, a 141-bed independent hospital supporting service users requiring medium and low secure Forensic Mental Health Services, including a PICU Mental Health Service.

The service offers a seamless care pathway, supporting recovery and rehabilitation, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide personalized assessments and treatments for males with mental illness or complex needs, as well as females and males in a PICU setting.
