Secondary Supply Cover Teacher - Tameside

Location: Secondary Schools across Tameside
Salary: 140 - 200 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract Type: Flexible (day-to-day and short-term supply)

Aspire People are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of well-regarded secondary schools across the Tameside area who require qualified and experienced Supply Cover Teachers to support their teams with short-term and day-to-day cover.

About the Role:
As a Supply Cover Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons across a variety of subjects in the absence of the regular class teacher. Your role will include managing classroom behaviour, ensuring continuity of learning, and maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment.

No planning or marking is required, making this an ideal opportunity for those looking to maintain a work-life balance while still making a valuable impact in the classroom.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
- Confidence covering multiple subjects across Key Stage 3 and 4
- Strong classroom management skills
- Professionalism, reliability, and a flexible approach
