Secondary Supply Teacher - Bury

Location:

Secondary Schools across BURY

Salary:

£140 - £200 per day (depending on experience and role)

Contract Type:

Day-to-day and short-term supply

About the Role

Aspire People is partnering with high-achieving secondary schools in Bury to expand their pool of reliable and qualified Supply Teachers.

This role offers flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to positively impact different school settings, without the additional responsibilities of planning and marking.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, managing the classroom effectively.
  • Engage students with the provided lesson content, ensuring a calm and respectful learning environment.
  • Cover a range of subjects depending on the school's daily needs; confidence across the curriculum is advantageous.
Requirements
  • QTS/QTLS or a recognised teaching qualification
  • Recent secondary teaching experience in the UK
  • Flexible, proactive approach with a strong classroom presence
  • Ability to deliver lessons across KS3 and KS4 subjects
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills
