Salary: 140 - 200 per day (depending on experience and role)

Contract Type: Day-to-day and short-term supply

Aspire People is currently working in partnership with a range of supportive and high-achieving secondary schools in Bury who are looking to expand their pool of dependable and high-quality Supply Teachers.

This role is ideal for teachers seeking flexibility, variety, and the chance to make a positive impact across different school settings—without the additional responsibilities of planning and marking.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will step into the classroom to deliver lessons in the absence of the regular teacher. Your main focus will be to manage the classroom effectively, engage students in the lesson content provided, and ensure a calm and respectful learning environment.

You could be covering a mix of subjects depending on the school's daily needs, so confidence across the curriculum is an advantage.

Requirements:

  • QTS/QTLS or a recognised teaching qualification
  • Recent secondary teaching experience in the UK
  • A flexible, proactive approach and strong classroom presence
  • The ability to deliver lessons across various subjects at KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent communication and behaviour management skills

We welcome applications from both experienced teachers and early career teachers (ECTs).
