Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Cover Teacher to join our team in South Norwood, Greater London. This is a temporary position with part-time hours expected to work. The primary industry for this role is Education and Training, and the salary range is £148 - £174 per day.

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative lessons to students in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
• Follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher and ensure continuity in instruction
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment for students
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively
• Provide feedback to regular teachers on student progress and behaviour

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience working with students in an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and classroom environments

Education:

A degree in Education or a related field is required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum
• Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
• Proficiency in using educational technology
• Excellent organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Postgraduate qualification in Education
• Experience working as a cover teacher or supply teacher

Working Conditions:

The Cover Teacher position in South Norwood involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The role may require flexibility in terms of working days and hours based on the school's needs.
