Job Title: General QTS Teacher – (Contract Role)

We are currently seeking a qualified General QTS Teacher to join an outstanding SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) school in Wokingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher who is looking to make a real difference in the lives of students who require additional support to thrive academically.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons to students with SEMH needs.
• Develop and implement tailored learning strategies that support the individual needs of students.
• Create a safe and supportive classroom environment, fostering confidence and growth.
• Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback and reporting to school leadership.
• Collaborate with the wider teaching team and SENCO to create individualisaed learning plans.
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and behaviour management.

About You:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• Experience teaching at secondary school level.
• Food Hygiene certification is required (or must be willing to complete training prior to starting).
• Strong understanding of SEMH and experience working with students with additional learning needs is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the best possible educational experience for all students.
• A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach to teaching.
