Job Title: Cover Teacher for Secondary
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Salary: £94 - £140 per day (Depending on experience)
Start: Immediate
Contract: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking an enthusiastic Secondary Cover Teacher to work in a vibrant secondary school in Farnborough. The role gives you a good mix of challenge and flexibility, letting you teach in your own way while using ready-made lesson plans. You will be part of a school that values creativity, fairness, and helping both staff and students grow. This job also lets you gain experience teaching different subjects and age groups, while helping students do their best.

Key Responsibilities of Secondary Cover Teacher:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary-aged pupils.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Encourage and support all learners.
• Mark work and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate clearly with school staff regarding student progress and any concerns.

Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experienced teachers who are looking for flexible work are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Strong behaviour management and classroom presence.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Adaptable and confident teaching across different age groups and subjects.
• Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service or willing to apply for one.
