Job summary

Philosophy Education, Ltd. is seeking Cover Teachers to work across Gravesend's secondary schools. You will supervise pre-planned lessons, manage behaviour, and support pupils across KS3/KS4 with flexibility to suit your availability.

We offer weekly pay, and options for flexible full-time or part-time placements, day-to-day or longer assignments, plus ongoing support from a dedicated consultant and access to a broad network of schools.

Qualifications

The Role

As a Cover Teacher, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across KS3 and KS4 in the absence of the classroom teacher.

• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.

• Encourage students to remain engaged with their learning.

• Support pupils of varying abilities and learning needs.

• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

• Build positive relationships with students and school staff.

• Gain experience across a variety of schools and subject areas.

• Choose assignments that suit your availability and preferred locations.
