Cover Supervisor - September 2025
Are you a recent college graduate or contemplating a career towards education? Wanting to gain in classroom experience working as a Cover Supervisor and get a feel for teaching!?

Consider joining us at Tradewind Recruitment as a Future Cover Supervisor for secondary schools in Bristol, starting from September on short- or long-term placements.

Tradewind provide a free Cover Supervisor course + 2,500 CPD courses, ensuring you are up skilled and constantly improving your abilities.

Your role involves:
Create and maintain a positive learning environment
Engaging with students and facilitating productive class sessions.
Controlling the classrooms behaviour in line with the school's behaviour policy
Presenting a lesson with the resources provided (you don't need to know about the subject)

We offer competitive pay ranging from 125- 140 per day PAYE, Monday to Friday, with flexible days to accommodate your availability. Whether you can commit to a full week or just a few days, we'll work with your schedule.

Requirements:
Experience working with young people aged 11-16 (preferred)
A Levels in relevant subjects
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references
Legal right to work in the UK
No prior teaching experience is necessary, but enthusiasm, communication skills, and a minimum of A Levels (preferably in English, Maths, Science, Business, Drama, Psychology, Humanities, or Sports) are desired.

As a Cover Supervisor, you'll work in secondary schools, overseeing various subjects and ensuring the smooth delivery of lesson plans!
