Cover Supervisor

A secondary school based in Hayes is looking for a cover supervisor to support classes across KS3 to KS5.

The school is looking for someone to start after February half term.

This position is full-time, but the school is open to part-time applicants. Working hours are from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.

Salary will depend on experience but is a minimum of £100 per day.

The school has available parking spaces.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise lessons: Ensure that the class follows the lesson plan, manage student behaviour, and provide support as needed.
• Ensure classroom management: Maintain discipline, handle minor disruptions, and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support students: Offer help with individual tasks, assist with learning activities, and ensure students stay on track.
• Monitor attendance and behaviour: Take attendance and report any issues with behaviour or student welfare to the relevant staff.

Qualifications and Person Specification:

• Previous experience working in schools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Approachable and encouraging
• Training will be provided
