Academics LTD is working with numerous excellent secondary schools in and around South Oxfordshire that are currently recruiting for Cover Supervisors to join ASAP / September 2024. We are looking for proactive, hardworking, and enthusiastic individuals to oversee lessons and support students' learning while maintaining the schools' high standards for behaviour when teachers are absent.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience in the education sector or an aspiring teacher. It’s also a great opportunity for graduates looking to take their first step into teaching. GCSEs in Maths or English (C or above) are required. There are also extensive opportunities to support SEN children if this interests you.

Main responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor include:

• Managing student behaviour to ensure a constructive learning environment
• Overseeing work set by the class teacher
• Serving as a role model and developing positive relationships with students and staff
• Committing to safeguarding and health and safety of students
