Cover Supervisor/Unqualified Teacher

A PRU in New Barnet is looking for an experienced Cover Supervisor or Unqualified Teacher to join their team in October, taking on cover supervisor duties.

The Role

This position is for an experienced cover supervisor/unqualified teacher interested in taking on additional responsibilities. You will cover lessons and classes across the school. Some pupils have mental health challenges, come from challenging backgrounds, have been permanently excluded, or have been out of education for a long time. The goal is to support their reintegration into education.

The School

The school is a PRU based in New Barnet with two sites. Pupils access a broad curriculum, including various subjects and qualifications, along with enrichment activities, trips, and visits. The school offers a strong professional development program, and the leadership team provides support to staff across all areas.

Requirements for this role:

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor in a secondary school
• Experience as an Unqualified Teacher
• Experience working with children of secondary and primary age
• Experience working with children with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs)
