A secondary school in the B29 area of Birmingham is looking for a Cover Supervisor to oversee Year 9 Science lessons starting this September. The role involves supervising classes of around 28 pupils, following teacher-set work across Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics. The school holds a 'Good' Ofsted rating and is known for its supportive SLT and science provision. This role is needed due to staff taking a career break. We're onboarding candidates in May to ensure everything is ready for the new academic year.

Role Responsibilities

Supervise science classes and ensure pupils stay on task

Follow lesson plans provided by the department

Manage behaviour and maintain classroom expectations

Report any incidents or pupil concerns to relevant staff
