Cover Supervisor – PE Cover (Year 10)
Location: Birmingham, B10
Start Date: September (new academic year)
Day Rate: £95 to £100 per day

A secondary school in the B10 area of Birmingham is seeking a Cover Supervisor to manage PE lessons for Year 10 pupils in September. You'll be supervising practical and theory sessions for groups of around 26 students. The school has a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating and a well-equipped sports department. This cover is required due to long-term sickness in the PE faculty. Onboarding is taking place in May to ensure you're ready for the start of the academic year.

Role Responsibilities

Supervise PE lessons and maintain pupil engagement

Ensure safety and behaviour standards during practical sessions

Deliver prepared resources and follow lesson plans

Report back to teaching staff on class progress

Candidate Requirements

Experience working with secondary-aged pupils

Confident managing classroom behaviour

Background in sports or physical education preferred
