Full time

Job Duties:

  • Supervising students in the absence of regular teachers
  • Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a positive learning environment
  • Delivering pre-prepared lesson plans provided by teaching staff
  • Assisting students with their work and providing support as needed
  • Reporting back to teaching staff on student progress and any issues that arise

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Mathematics
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage a classroom effectively

Education:

GCSEs or equivalent in English and Mathematics

Experience:

  • Prior experience working with children or in a similar role is desirable but not essential

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of classroom management techniques
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching Assistant qualification
  • First Aid certification
