Job summary

Create Education is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor to join a Camden secondary school. You will manage classes across Key Stages 3 and 4, deliver pre-set work and maintain engagement in the absence of the regular teacher.

You should have strong classroom management, extensive secondary school experience, and a proactive, student-centered approach. DBS via Update Service is preferred or readiness to apply.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Cover Supervisor is essential.
• Extensive experience working within secondary school settings.
• DBS registered on the Update Service, or the ability to apply for one immediately.

Create Education is looking for a confident, reliable and personable Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Camden, North/Northwest London.

We’re looking for someone who knows their way around a secondary school, is comfortable managing a classroom and can keep students engaged when their usual teacher is absent. Experience is key here, so you’ll need a strong background working in secondary school settings and previous experience as a Cover Supervisor.

You don’t need to be a subject specialist, but if you have a particular strength in a subject area, that would be a bonus!

Just as important as your experience is your personality. A good sense of humour, a positive attitude and the ability to build rapport with young people will go a long way. We’re looking for someone who can strike the right balance between being approachable and maintaining clear boundaries.
