A well-established secondary school in New Mills seeks an experienced Cover Supervisor Manager to lead and coordinate the cover supervisor team, ensuring quality cover for absent teachers and maintaining classroom standards. The role also includes occasional direct classroom cover, providing excellent behaviour management and learning continuity.

  • Manage the daily deployment of cover supervisors

  • Deliver cover lessons where required, supporting learning across subjects

  • Liaise with SLT, teaching staff, and support teams

  • Train and mentor cover supervisors

  • Maintain records and monitor cover quality and compliance

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
