JOB TITLE - Cover Supervisor

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor for a mainstream school located in Llanelli. The school boasts a supportive cover team and teaching staff, with ongoing CPD opportunities throughout the year. This role is suitable for both graduates and experienced cover supervisors. Based on performance, there may be opportunities to extend the contract or secure a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

1. Location - Llanelli
2. Position - Cover Supervisor
3. Type of work - Covering classes in the absence of a Class Teacher
4. Start date - ASAP
5. Duration - Ongoing until further notice (sickness cover)
6. Contract type - Temporary
7. Full-time/Part-time - Flexible, depending on availability
8. Minimum rate of pay - £90 per day
9. Hours - 8:30 am - 4:00 pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

1. Recent graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher
2. Previous experience working in a UK school
3. Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

1. Hold the Right to Work in the UK
2. Possess an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application
3. Provide two professional child-related references covering the last 2 years
