Cover Supervisor - Secondary School - Leeds
Veritas Education

Veritas Education is currently recruiting a confident and reliable Cover Supervisor to work in a secondary school in Leeds. This role is ideal for individuals with strong classroom management skills who are passionate about supporting young people in education.

Location: Leeds
Start Date: Immediate or September 2025
Contract: Full-time or part-time, flexible
Salary: up to 120 per day PAYE

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will manage classrooms during teacher absences, ensuring that students complete the work set and maintain focus. You will not be required to plan or mark but will need to manage behaviour and provide support where needed.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-set lessons across various subjects

• Maintain behaviour in line with school policies

• Engage students and keep them on task

• Provide feedback to teaching staff on student behaviour and progress

Requirements:

• Strong classroom and behaviour management

• Confident leading secondary-aged students

• Previous experience in schools, tutoring, coaching, or youth work is desirable

• Adaptable, calm, and professional

• Strong communication and organisational skills
