Job summary

Miltoncross Academy, part of TKAT, is seeking a Cover Supervisor to support students when their teacher is absent. You will supervise work set by the teacher and help maintain consistent learning across classes.

Full induction and training will be provided; this role offers paid experience in education and could lead to future teacher training opportunities. The position is based at Miltoncross Academy in Portsmouth with a warm, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience with children or teenagers is advantageous but not essential.
• Full induction and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students when the teacher is absent and keep them on task with set work.
• Support learning by following the teacher's provided material and classroom plan.
• Receive full training on classroom management and be supported to develop skills.
